Round Reed Basket 395
It usually takes me 6 baskets to create a single basket that is suitable for a basketry class. It is what I call the Goldilocks Syndrome. Some are too difficult, some have too many spokes, some have too much weaving, some have too many time-consuming parts and pieces, some have too many new techniques and some have color combinations that just don’t appeal to a wide audience. While I love creating and learning from these “3 Bear” baskets, my space is limited and a select few must make their way to another home.
Diameter = 7.25”
Height=4.25”
Colors: The basket uses aqua, natural and dark blue to echo the colors found within the bloom base. The base also has shades of an asparagus gold/green (it actually looks really great) with white lacing.
